Overview
The Champions system is a long-term roster framework. Summons change baseline loop quality by adding passive multipliers and utility.
Core Entry Flow
Players summon Champions using 5,000 Chikara Shards per summon through the Champion summon flow. The practical decision is not only which unit is best, but which roster shape is most stable for your current comp.
Placement and Passive Effect
Placed Champions improve account-level outcomes by reducing variance in loop efficiency:
- Loop A: same time input with no active Champion support.
- Loop B: same loop with a strong passive stack.
Loop B usually clears stages faster and produces a steadier Shard and Yen cadence over time.
Champion Leveling & XP
Champions are not static; they can be leveled up to improve their passive multipliers:
- Mob Farming: Whenever you defeat hostiles/mobs (such as thugs or Saiyans) across the map, your equipped Champions gain Experience Points (XP).
- Leveling up your Champions directly increases their stat scaling bonuses, making active mob grinding a viable route to boost your training speed.
Adventures & Expeditions
You can put your inactive or weaker Champions to work through the Adventures system:
- Expeditions: Send Champions you aren’t currently using on expeditions (ranging up to 24 hours, such as the Primal Rage expedition).
- Loot: Completing expeditions yields valuable resources, including Rage Crystals (which can be brought to Vegeta to craft special powers).
- Restriction: While a Champion is away on an expedition, they cannot be deployed in your active training squad or combat team.
Locking and Team Control
Champion locks prevent accidental replacements and protect your tuned roster during burst sessions.
- Lock a useful unit immediately once its passive profile aligns with your route.
- Keep one coherent build goal and prune weak alternatives quickly.
Recycle Rule for Duplicates
Weak or duplicate Champions can be recycled when the roster is overcrowded or underperforming.
- Converting low-value units restores Shards.
- Recovered Shards should be returned to summon windows with clearly defined priorities.
Practical Recommendations
- Define a shard budget before any summon block.
- Lock champions that stabilize your main route.
- Use rerolls only after core slots are protected and stable.
