Anime Fighting Simulator Superpower Guide

Find both Superpower gachas, choose between Tensei and Chikara rolls, compare all five Update 9 Superpowers and fix the most common unlock mistakes.

Update 9 added a separate Superpower roll category to the current Anime Fighting Simulator. This guide applies to Roblox place 100429474155186, universe 10321202755, from the verified Anime Fighting Simulator | BZ group.

The locations and five-power list come from Ender’s full Update 9 Superpower showcase, including its narrated route, chaptered demonstrations, on-screen move panels and public follow-up comments. Phelep’s independent Update 9 walkthrough also shows the Dimension 2 island and Superpower roll point in the same current game.

1. Confirm the right game

Before spending anything, check that the Roblox URL contains place 100429474155186. Legacy AFS, AFS X, AFS Endless, AFS Reborn and Anime Fighters Simulator do not share this gacha or map route.

You are in the correct Update 9 build when Statistics → Skill Tree exists and the Superpower gacha offers the five powers listed below.

2. Find both Superpower gachas

Both locations use the same Superpower pool, so use whichever is faster for your current route.

Dimension 1 hospital

  1. Leave spawn from the side nearest the Chakra tree.
  2. Turn right toward the hospital building.
  3. Enter the hospital; the Superpower gacha is immediately inside the entrance.

Dimension 2 new island

  1. Open Quick Travel, scroll to Other, then choose Duel Arena. The reviewed walkthrough reports this destination is available by default.
  2. Fly straight behind the Duel Arena island.
  3. Land at the front edge of the new island. The roll point is near the Update 9 quest NPCs and Tatsumaki area.

If you reach Tatsumaki but cannot see the gacha, circle to the front of the island instead of searching behind the boss.

3. Pick Tensei Shards or Chikara

The reviewed Update 9 interface offered either 150 Tensei Shards or 1,000 Chikara for one roll. These are player-observed launch values, not a creator-published permanent price. Read the live confirmation before every session.

  • Spend the currency that is not blocking your next planned upgrade.
  • Keep a reserve for Skill Tree, Tower, Champion or other progression goals you already use.
  • Do not plan around a specific rarity until the live gacha shows its current odds. No stable creator-published odds table was found.
  • Stop after a fixed budget. A different animation or rarity color does not guarantee that the result fits your build.

4. Compare all five Update 9 Superpowers

SuperpowerMoves shown in the Update 9 showcasePractical reason to keep it
ExplosionBlast Rush, Stun Grenade, Howitzer ImpactA straightforward close-to-mid-range kit with a stun option. Test whether its reach fits the fights you repeat.
OverhaulOverhaul Punch, Earth Rend, ReassembleMixes direct attacks with Reassemble. Keep it if that utility matters more than chasing a rarer label.
Half Hot Half ColdIce Spikes, Ice Surf, Flashfire Jet Kindle, Flashfreeze HeatwaveFreeze plus burn makes it the clearest control-oriented option; the showcase creator also recommended it as one possible Strength PvP choice.
ElectrificationBreath Blast, Jump Slam, Lightning Strikes, Sword StrikeThe launch showcase displayed it as Mythic, but the uploader suspected that rarity may be unintended. Do not overspend solely for the label.
Green HeroDetroit Smash, Full Manchester Smash, OFA Surge, USA SmashA four-hit Strength kit, but viewers reported that its area and range felt small. Test it on your actual target before committing more rolls.

Which stat scales Superpowers?

The showcase uploader reported that all five were scaling from Strength in the reviewed Update 9 build, even where the animation suggested otherwise. The uploader also warned that this could be changed later. Verify with a controlled test:

  1. Remove temporary damage boosts and record one move’s result against the same target.
  2. Increase or equip only your Strength-related bonus.
  3. Repeat from the same distance.
  4. If the result does not move as expected, rejoin a fresh server and retest before spending Skill Points or rerolls.

Is Wild Psychic in the Superpower gacha?

No. The showcase creator explicitly separated Wild Psychic / Tatsumaki’s Psychic power from the Superpower category. It is reported as a permanent Tatsumaki boss drop, so rolling the hospital or Dimension 2 gacha will not target it.

Common problems

The gacha is missing

  • Confirm the place ID is 100429474155186.
  • In Dimension 1, go inside the hospital rather than stopping at the exterior NPCs.
  • In Dimension 2, start from Duel Arena and fly behind that island to the new island’s front edge.
  • Rejoin a newer server if the Update 9 Skill Tree and island are both absent.

A ranged move feels too small

Multiple showcase comments raised this complaint, especially for Green Hero. Treat range as part of the kit rather than assuming the animation covers every visible effect. Test on spaced targets before using it for repeat quests, PvP or crowded dungeons.

The rare result is not doing more damage

Rarity and usefulness are not the same. Compare hit count, cooldown, reach, control and whether the move reliably lands in your chosen mode. Electrification’s displayed launch rarity was already questioned by the showcase uploader, so a future balance or rarity change remains possible.

I rolled a power, but where is it?

Open your power inventory and look for the separate Superpower category. Equip the result and confirm that its move keys appear. If currency was deducted but no result appears, capture the before/after balance and rejoin once before reporting the transaction as failed.

The video narration, chapters, move panels and all public comments available from the main showcase were reviewed on September 17, 2026. Locations were cross-checked against a second current-game walkthrough. Costs, scaling and balance judgments remain labeled as player-observed because the Roblox description does not publish a Superpower mechanics table.
